Traditional deer scoring relies on physical measurements. Photo-based AI scoring provides a faster estimate by analyzing the visible antler structure in an image. RackScore looks at details such as tine length, main-beam spread and overall rack structure, then produces an AI-assisted estimate.
Start with one clear image
Choose a photo where the whole rack is visible. Keep the buck centered, avoid heavy blur and make sure branches or vegetation do not hide important antler points. A front-facing or slightly angled image usually provides more usable visual information than a distant side profile.
Upload and review
Open RackScore, take a new photo or select a harvest or trail-camera image. Once the analysis is complete, review the estimated score and save the result to your private Trophy Room. You can also place two scored bucks side by side for comparison.
Remember: it is an estimate
A photo cannot replace hands-on measurement for an official score. Perspective, distance, lighting and hidden antler sections can affect what is visible. Use the result as a fast reference and comparison tool.
Get a better result
- Keep the full rack inside the frame.
- Use the highest-resolution original photo available.
- Avoid extreme wide-angle distortion.
- Choose an image with balanced lighting.
- Try another clear angle when part of the rack is hidden.
